BUILDING COMPLIANCE 101 + STRATA MASTERY – ABMA Code Utilisation & Code of Conduct Workshop

Course participants are provided an Introduction to the Australian Building Management (ABMA) Code within 5-6 Hours.

Course participants exit the training program equipped with knowledge, reference guides and simple tools for ensuring that Lot Owners/Caretakers/Facility Managers are limiting their risk exposure in critical compliance areas and may confidently delivery on their contracted and/or legislated duties. Students will receive a "Certificate of Participation" upon completion of the course.

The "Strata Mastery" - ABMA Code Utilisation & Code of Conduct Training Program provides a comprehensive review of ABMA Code standards with, site-specific, Caretaking Agreement "Schedule of Duties". In short, workshops are 100% customised to each body corporate/scheme. Students learn how to immediately apply the principles of the ABMA Code to, site specific, day-to-day, business/body corporate management practices.

The course is essential for those presently living, working or looking to invest within the strata sector.

Training is delivered in all Australian states (QLD, NSW, VIC, NT, SA, WA, TAS)  via video conference link or in person, where permitting.

i. A step-by-step review of ABMA Code standards with, site specific, Caretaking Agreement "Schedule of Duties”.

In the absence of Management Rights or a Caretaking/Facility Management Service Arrangement, Committee Members assume the full responsibility to maintain all common areas. In this instance, Committee Members or Self-Managing Bodies Corporate are provided direction and guidance on specific duties and tasks that are required to be performed by 'Committee Members' versus (external) 'Service Contractors' and finally, 'Industry Specialists'.

Managers/Committee Members may further enrol to the (1 to 2 Day) "Strata Mastery - Regulatory Compliance Via Self Assessment" (RCviaSA) Training Course. Course participants undertake a 'mock' performance review/audit to ensure 100% compliance. Students are also provided the skills necessary to 'self-audit' moving forward.

Training days and times may be extended upon request - training duration may vary according to the total number of non-compliances that are identified during the 'mock' audit. The (Level 2) RCviaSA training course is essential for all 'self-managing' Bodies Corporate and Caretaking/Facility Management Service Contractors.
